The Walton County Sheriff’s Office says investigators are trying to identify a suspect in a string of car burglaries that resulted in the theft of clothes, tools, a purse and even two packages of toilet paper. The break-ins occurred on several streets on January 22nd. A surveillance video showed a white male stealing a bag of men’s clothing valued at $250. 24 rolls of toilet paper were taken from the trunk of another car. The suspect was wearing a ball cap, white tennis shoes, and long pants. Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call the Walton County Sheriff’s Office or by making an anonymous report by calling Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at (850) 863-TIPS.
