A teacher at West Florida High School has been named the 2020 Escambia County School District’s Teacher of the Year. Cheyenne Novotny is a chemistry and environment science teacher at the school. Her selection was announced as the 2020 Teacher of the Year at the Escambia County Public Schools Foundation’s Golden Apple Dinner.

The Santa Rosa County School Teacher of the Year was named last week. Elizabeth Mann is an exceptional student education inclusion teacher who works with special needs student at Oriole Beach Elementary School in Gulf Breeze.
