DOLPHIN DEATHS

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration says two dolphins were found dead within three days of each other on Pensacola Beach and in Naples in Central Florida. On January 27th, the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge said a dead dolphin with a bullet in its side was found on Pensacola Beach. Three days later biologists with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said another dolphin was found dead in Naples. It had been fatally wounded from either a bullet or a sharp object. NOAA is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information that leads to an arrest for the person or persons responsible for the deaths.
