Santa Rosa County Commissioners declined to take action on a controversial resolution yesterday that would have designated Santa Rosa County as a “pro-life sanctuary”, the first in the state. Instead, voters will be asked if they want the County to symbolically declare itself an anti-abortion county. Commissioners had planned to vote on whether to adopt the resolution themselves on Thursday, but eventually decided not to take action and leave the decision up to voters in November.
