The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened yesterday afternoon. It happened just before 4 p.m. on Brainerd Street near Shoemaker Street. The 15-year-old victim was shot four times – three times in the arms and once in the stomach – but is expected to survive. The victim is not cooperating with law enforcement and no suspects have been identified, but the investigation is on-going.
