The Florida Department of Corrections says correctional officers in Century were recently attacked by inmates in two separate incidents. On February 18th, inmate Jamal Harris pushed and struck officers who were treated by medical staff. On February 13th, inmate Christian Lee punched an officer in the shoulder, but did not injure him. In all both cases, FDC said staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
