MATT GAETZ TURNS REFUSES PAC MONEY

Congressman Matt Gaetz says he will no longer accept campaign donations from political action committees and that he is the only Republican returning to Congress to make the no PAC pledge. He made the announcement at the Conservative Political Action Conference in  Washington, D.C. Gaetz’s reelection campaign has raised more than a million dollars, with the majority coming from individual donors. Although he has accepted nearly $40,000 in PAC donations – the most recent coming in December 2019 – he said he will never again accept a donation from a federal political action committee.
