POLICE OFFICER MEMORIAL SERVICE

The memorial service for Stephen Grogan, the Pensacola police officer who died Tuesday from brain cancer, will be held next week. The service is set for 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 5th, at Olive Baptist Church at Olive Road and Davis Highway. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Grogan was first diagnosed in 2017 not long after joining the Pensacola Police Department. He is survived by his wife Christina, and his two young sons, Tristan and Camden. He was 31. Those who would like to donate to the Grogan family may give in person at the police station’s front desk at 711 North Hayne Street or donate online to the Fraternal Order of Police.
