Pensacola real estate developer Collier Merrill has confirmed that he and his two brothers have agreed to buy into Pensacon and become part owners alongside event founder and Chief Executive Officer Mike Ensley. The 7th annual Pensacon-Pensacola Comic Con, featuring hundreds of actors, artists, wrestlers, producers, and more, ended yesterday. Ensley said with his association with the Merrills, he’s looking forward to an improved Pensacon. Collier Merrill and Ensley both declined to say how much money the Merrills are paying to buy into the ownership stake and said financial details like majority and minority ownership allocation have not yet been determined.
