FORMER MILTON MAYOR IN PRISON

The former head of United Way of Santa Rosa County and Milton Mayor Guy Thompson, is now in a federal prison in North Carolina. Thompson checked into the federal correctional institution in Granville County, North Carolina. Thompson was sentenced to four years and three months in prison. Prosecutors say he embezzled over $650,000 from the United Way of Santa Rosa County over seven years
