SMALL PLANE CRASHES INTO A TREE

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Department says two men and a dog were not injured when their small plane crashed into a tree at the Destin Airport on Sunday after reporting engine problems. It happened shortly after 10 am on Planet Drive. The two men on the plane are father and son flying in from Kansas for spring break in their Beechcraft Bonanza. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and will handle the investigation.
