CITY AND COUNTY RESPONSE TO CARONAVIRUS

Officials with the city of Pensacola and Escambia County are awaiting further guidance from the Florida Department of Health about the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. So far, no cases of COVID-19 have been found in Escambia County. Starting Monday, March 16th all publicly-permitted events with 500 or more people are cancelled. This only applies to events that are permitted through Escambia County or the City of Pensacola and does not include schools, churches, or other private events.
