The Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court says all criminal and civil jury trails in Florida have been temporarily suspended in the interest of public health because of the coronavirus pandemic. Chief Justice Charles Canady said the suspension would last through at least March 27th although ocal judges are authorized to conduct non-jury proceedings remotely using technology. The order concerns only jury trials. Hearings, filings, and other work of the judicial branch and clerks of court continues.
