Alabama Governor Kay Ivey has ordered all non-essential businesses in Alabama closed for three weeks in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. The businesses include entertainment venues, tourist attractions including museums and planetariums and most retail stores except gas stations, grocery stores, and pharmacies. The order also prohibits any non-work-related gathering of 10 more people that cannot maintain a 6-foot separation between people.
