The Florida Department of Corrections has extended the suspension of visitation at all correctional institutions in the state. DOC Secretary Mark Inch said the suspension will remain in effect through April 30th, but that date will be evaluated in consultation with public health experts. Inmates will continue to have access to their loved ones through mail, phone calls and video visitation and legal visits will not be impacted.
