Florida’s safer-at-home order expires April 30th, and Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson says he expects some parts of the city to start reopening by May 1st. However, he said any re-openings will likely be gradual. Re-openings could be guided by a new plan that would designate re-openings as green, yellow or red depending on the current state of COVID-19 in the community and the response. Re-openings could start with a green designation, but if 15% of first-responders were unable to work because of exposure to the coronavirus, activities could implemented again.
