Walton County commissioners have voted unanimously to reopen all county beaches on May 1st. The beaches will be open during normal hours without any limitations, unlike the plans put in place in Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties. Of the four Northwest Florida counties, Walton County has the fewest COVID-19 cases with 32. The board will meet again May 14th to review the results of opening the beaches.
