The Florida Forest Service is fighting a wildfire in Santa Rosa County, north of Interstate 10 and east of Avalon Boulevard. A spokesman for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services said the blaze was not threatening any structures. The Forest Service has six tractor plow units, two brush trucks and one helicopter at the scene. It is not known when the fire will be contained.
