Firefighters are battling large wildfire in Beulah in west Escambia County with more than 100 acres burning around Hurst Hammock Road toward the Perdido River and Perdido Bay. Fire officials said no homes have been threatened so far. Hurst Hammock Road was closed, but Beulah Road remained open and no evacuations have been ordered. Firefightes from multiple Escambia County fire stations are on scene, along with the Florida Forest Service and units from Baldwin County Alabama.
