A 31-year-old Gulf Breeze man has been arrested for abusing a person over the age of 65. A woman arrived at Gulf Breeze Hospital last week with a swollen head, cut face, carpet burns on her back, and bruises and told staff that Jorma Shores had attacked her and sprayed her with pepper spray after she found a powdery substance in his bedroom. Her relationship to Shores was not known. Shores was charged with agravated battery on a person over the age of 65 and booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail with a $107,500 bond.
