The broken water main at the Century Prison in North Escambia County has been repaired and water service has been restored. Florida State Senator Doug Broxson said the water is still not drinkable as water lines are being flushed and inmates are still being provided bottled water. 190 close custody inmates were transferred from to other facilities after the water main break inside the prison because the situation did not meet the security requirements for close custody inmates.
