TROPICAL STORM ARTHUR

The first tropical storm of the season formed off the southeast coast of Florida Saturday night, two weeks before the official start of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Tropical Storm Arthur is no threat to Florida, but could come close the North Carolina Outer Banks today. The strongest winds will be on the eastern side of the storm, out in the open Atlantic. Tropical storm warnings are in effect for the North Carolina Coast today with gale-force winds and heavy rain expected.
