The Walton County Sheriff’s Office says a 26-year-old Miramar Beach was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop yesterday. Deputies say William Edwards ran a stop sign around 1 a.m. on County Road 283. Deputies saw marijuana in plain view, searched the vehicle and found 14 grams of cocaine, 4-pounds of marijuana, 50 Xanax pills, 70 alprazolam pills and over $7,500 in cash and drug paraphernalia. Edwards was arrested on drug charges and was also issued two traffic citations and was booked into the Walton County Jail.
