PERDIDO KEY PARKING

Escambia County officials are warning visitors to Perdido Key to be careful where they park because they could be ticketed or have their vehicle towed. There is a County ordinance prohibiting parking along Perdido Key Drive or on private property and no-parking signs are usually posted. There is free parking in designated lots, which are also marked. Illegal parking can create unsafe conditions for pedestrians and walking through the dunes can damage the fragile ecosystem.
