PANAMA CITY SHOOTING ARRESTS

The Bay County Sheriff’s Department says four people have been arrested on drug and child neglect charges as part of the investigation into a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday in Panama City. Investigators say 31-year-old Nathan Edwards broke through a glass door of the home and began attacking a woman. A man in his 70s, also living in the home, shot and killed Edwards. Edwards was living in a short-term rental a block away from the scene. A search warrant was obtained and deputies found LSD, cocaine, THC, an unsecured firearm and $1,600 in cash. Several children were also found in the home. The four who were arrested were part of a group from Georgia visiting Bay County. They are all facing narcotics and child neglect charges.
