The State Attorney’s Office has determined that the shooting of an armed suspect by a Fort Walton Beach police officer last April was justifiable. On April 2nd, three Fort Walton Beach Police Officers attempted to arrest Mark Bland on a warrant. Bland pulled a knife and was shot 7 times by two of the officers, but survived. State Attorney Bill Eddins made the announcement yesterday.
