ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department is still seeking a suspect for an attempted armed robbery that happened Tuesday night on Jackson Street and 57th Avenue in Myrtle Grove. The victim says the suspect tried to sell them drugs as they were coming out of a store and when the victim refused and started to ride away on a bike, the suspect fired two shots, but no one was injured. The investigation is ongoing.
