The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office says a former Navarre High School teacher has been arrested and charged with having sex with a student in her classroom. 37-year-old Meghan Rodriguez resigned from her teaching position on May 28th after being accused of having sex with one of her students during the summer of 2019. Rodriguez told Navarre High’s principal that she and the student had only kissed once. The student told his parents he thought he had to agree to Rodriguez’s sexual advances or else she might fail him. Rodriguez is being held in jail without bond.
