The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office says an unusual plane crash occurred this past weekend at Bob Sikes Airport near Crestview involving a plane without wings. The pilot was testing the engine of a single engine aircraft without wings on the runway at the airport when the aircraft rolled over. The pilot was injured and was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment.
