I-10 FATAL TRAFFIC CRASH

The Florida Highway Patrol says a head-on collision around 1:45 Saturday morning on Interstate 10 left one Alabama man dead and a Texas woman in serious condition. Troopers say a 46-year-old woman was driving an SUV the wrong way on I-10, heading westbound in the eastbound lane around mile-marker 3, and collided with a vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Alabama man. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and the woman was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Charges are pending.
