Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vetoed over a billion dollars from next year’s budget, including $750,000 for a transportation project for The Bluffs in Cantonment, an industrial park expected to have up to 60 industrial and manufacturing companies and more than 15,000 jobs. The $750,000 would have funded an entrance near New Chemstrand Road. The 1,700 acres of land is east of Highway 29 and bordered by the Escambia River.
