The Pensacola City Council will hold a meeting tomorrow evening to decide the fate of Pensacola’s Confederate monument. Because of the coronavirus the public will not be allowed to attend, but the council will still be taking comments from anyone watching online. People will have three options to comment on whether the monument should stay or go.
Option number 1 will allow people to speak by phone providing they have signed up on the city’s website between noon and 5:15 p.m. tomorrow. Option number 2 allows people to submit a written comment to be read aloud by emailing City Council Executive Don Kraher at [email protected] Option 3 will allow anyone to email any individual council member or the City Council Executive Kraher and those emails will be made a part of the public record.
Emails may not contain profanities, obscenities or language that is deemed improper or inappropriate.
