For the first time Okaloosa County is reporting two deaths from COVID-19 in the same day. They were the 11th and 12th fatalities attributed to the coronavirus. 26-year-old Desi’rae Wysocki-McIntosh died Monday. The second victim was an 84-year-old woman who was hospitalized July 1st. The latest fatality in Santa Rosa County was an 83-year-old woman. Escambia County had one new death. Okaloosa County reported 45 COVID-19 hospitalized patients with 19 of those in ICU beds and six on ventilators. Fifty of 54 ICU beds within the county are presently occupied.
