WALTON COUNTY JAIL LIEUTENANT RESIGNS

A lieutenant at the Walton County Jail has resigned after being caught illegally night hunting with her husband. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said in February Elisa Hicks and her husband, were driving on Highway 90 East of Argyle when they saw what they thought was a deer, but was actually a robotic look-alike  placed on the highway by Wildlife officers to catch illegal hunters. Three shots were fired from their vehicle causing significant damage to the robotic deer. Hicks was placed on administrative leave following the incident and has now resigned.
