ESCAMBIA COUNTY COVID-19 DEATHS

The Florida Department of Health says there were 10 new coronavirus deaths in Escambia County yesterday the largest one-day increase since the pandemic started. Escambia County now has 77 coronavirus deaths. However, the Department of Health’s numbers have lagged behind information from the District 1 Medical Examiner’s Office, which reported 88 deaths in Escambia County since July 1st. The 10 newly reported deaths in Escambia range in age from 63 to 99.
