The Florida Department of Health says 9,344 new COVID-19 cases were added yesterday bringing the state’s total to 423,855. There were an additional 78 deaths, which brings Florida’s total deaths to 5,972, including 118 non-residents. Escambia County had 164 new cases and 4 deaths – Santa Rosa County had 142 new cases but no deaths Sunday – Okaloosa County had 93 new cases and no news deaths and Walton County had 12 new cases and one death.
