The Florida Department of Health reports 480 new COVID-19 cases yesterday and 6 deaths in the four counties of Northwest Florida. Escambia County had 169 new cases and 4 new deaths – Santa Rosa County had 154 new cases, but no new deaths – Okaloosa County had 127 new cases and 2 new deaths and Walton County had 30 new cases, but no additional deaths. Total cases in Florida are now 461,379 with 6,586 deaths. Escambia County has recorded 92 total deaths from COVID-19, 58 of whom were long-term care facility residents or staff.
