Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has extended an executive order on evictions to September 1st when the non-payment of a mortgage is due to COVID-19. The action is intended to provide relief for thousands of Florida residents that remain unemployed or otherwise are suffering economically due to the pandemic. The eviction moratorium first went into effect on April 2nd and this is the fourth extension.
