The Florida High School Athletic Association has drafted three options to begin sports after the start of the fall season was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The first option calls for sports to begin August 24th. The second option is for starting at an undetermined time after August. The third option wouldn’t start sports until November 30th, and the regular seasons in all sports would be condensed to about five weeks. The fall sports advisory committees will review the plans and a recommendation will be made to the FHSAA board of directors on August 17th.
