PENACOLA AXE-THREATENER ARRESTED

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office says a 42-year-old man has been arrested for threatening Pensacola grocery store employees with an ax after being told to wear a face mask while inside the store. An employee at the Grocery Advantage store on Lillian Highway asked Michael Bevans, of Pensacola, and a woman he was with, to put on a mask, but they refused. They were asked to leave and Bevans became angry,  started yelling racial slurs and then threatened employees with an ax
