The Florida State Department of Health says Florida is nearing 540,000 coronavirus cases. As of yesterday, the state added 4,155 new cases and 93 new deaths. Escambia County had 124 new cases, but no new deaths – Santa Rosa County had 24 new cases and 1 new death – Okaloosa County had 39 new cases – Walton County had 6 new cases, but neither county had any new deaths.
