The Florida Department of Health says Florida added 2,564 new COVID-19 cases yesterday to bring the state’s total to 646,431. There were also 38 new coronavirus deaths, bringing the death toll to 12,001. Escambia County had 39 new cases and no new deaths – Santa Rosa County had 45 new cases and no new deaths – Okaloosa County had 21 new cases and 3 new deaths – and Walton County had 18 new cases and no new deaths.
