More than 900 students and teachers across Escambia and Santa Rosa counties are in quarantine for either testing positive for COVID-19 or being exposed to it. Santa Rosa County School Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick said 63 employees and 507 students have been quarantined. In Escambia County, Deputy Superintendent Norm Ross said 18 employees have tested positive for the virus, but it’s not known how many additional employees were in quarantine.
