Florida Governor Ron Desantis has declared a state of emergency for Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties for the approach of Hurricane Sally. The City of Pensacola has also declared a state of emergency. Mayor Grover Robinson said the greatest impact expected is rain at high tide. Walton County also declared a state of emergency. Mayor Robinson said Graffiti Bridge on 17th Avenue will likely close during the storm because of standing water.
