Escambia County Emergency Services says two children died Saturday in an early morning fire at a mobile home. The fire was reported just after 4:30 a.m. off Lillian Highway in the 1200 block of 46th Avenue.  Firefighters arrived to find the mobile home engulfed in flames and the two juvenile victims were discovered at the scene. Their ages were not released. One firefighter was transported by Escambia County EMS to an area hospital for a minor injury. The Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
