FEMA ASSISTANCE FILING DEADLINE

The deadline to apply for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to recover from Hurricane Sally is December 1st. The same deadline is for those who wish to apply for low-interest loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Applications for FEMA assistance will be accepted online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling the phone number on the website. In-person assistance with an SBA disaster loan is available at Business Recovery Centers, open 7 days a week, 8 a.m.to 8 p.m., at the East Pensacola Heights Clubhouse, 3208 E. Gonzalez Street or the Bridgeway Center, 205 Shell Avenue in Fort Walton Beach.
