A special CivicCon virtual town hall will be held at 6 p.m. today. Leaders from three Pensacola-area health care facilities will discuss how they are dealing with the new surge of COVID-19 cases and how the community can help. They include Mark Faulkner, president and CEO of Baptist Health Care; Dawn Rudolph, president of Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola; and Chandra Smiley, CEO and executive director of Community Health Northwest Florida. Registration for the free event is available by searching “CivicCon” at eventbrite.com. Those who register online will have an opportunity to submit a question to the health care leaders to be answered during the town hall.
