The Florida Department of Health says the state added 8.847 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the state’s total to 1,008,166. There were also 82 new deaths bringing the state’s death toll to 18,916

Escambia County had 143 new cases and one new death

Santa Rosa County had 108 new cases

Okaloosa County had 20 new cases

Walton County had 37 new cases
