FLORIDA VACCINE PRIORTIES

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis says residents in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities will be the first to get a coronavirus vaccine when it becomes available because they are most vulnerable to the virus. Health care workers who are in high-risk and high-contact environments will be next, then those 65 and over as well as those who have significant health issues. The Governor stressed that the state will not force anyone to take the vaccine.
