SEXUAL ASSAULT ARREST

The Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office says an 18-year-old man has been arrested on sexual assault charges from a case in September of 2019. The15-year female victim told deputies she attended a party in Jay and had been drinking beer and Vodka. She said a male offered her a shot of Vodka, but she only drank half. She said she blacked out and awoke in her bed the next morning and her underwear was missing and she felt pain in her genitals. DNA samples were taken from the victim. During the investigation Seth McDonald was identified as a suspect and this past September the Florida Department of Law Enforcement matched the DNA to McDonald. He has been booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on sexual assault charges with a $250,000 bond.
